Family Office Global (FOG)
Family Office Global (FOG) is a family office publication established in 2009. We publish long-form writing for principals, next-gen, and senior executives across single- and multi-family offices - alongside the trusted advisers who serve them.
FOG’s purpose is simple: a platform for serious, practitioner-led thinking on the issues that matter to family offices. We don’t aim for a single house view. We aim for useful debate.
What we cover
Our focus sits where family offices spend real time and attention:
Investing & markets (regimes, asset allocation, private markets, risk)
Governance & succession (structures, decision-making, trusteeship, continuity)
Operations & technology (controls, reporting, process, modern tooling)
Economics & geopolitics (implications-first, non-partisan, practical)
We’ll occasionally publish adjacent utility pieces when they’re genuinely helpful to UHNW families and family office teams.
Our archive
FOG has published 350+ articles from prominent voices across the family office ecosystem. Now on Substack, bringing the archive into a more modern format - and creates a better home for new work.
What to expect
We’ll publish regularly, with a thoughtful cadence. Expect features, commentary, interviews and occasional curated reading - always written with a family office audience in mind.
Contribute
We welcome pitches from family office leaders and credible experts. We value clear thinking, evidence where appropriate, and a non-promotional tone. If you’d like to contribute, submit a form here.
Disclosures
FOG is informational and educational; nothing we publish is investment, tax or legal advice. Contributors’ views are their own.
